Alpha Investing ("we", "us", "our") operates the alphainvesting.app website and the Alpha Investing mobile application (together, the "Service"). This policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and your rights.

• Subscription data: tier (Free, Basic, Pro, Premium), billing status. Payment details are handled by Stripe and Apple/Google and never stored on our servers.
• Usage data: watchlists, saved screeners, chat history with our AI agents, notification preferences.
• Device data: device identifier for push notifications (FCM/APNs token), app version, operating system.
• Crash reports: anonymized stack traces via Sentry to diagnose bugs. No personal data is attached.

2. How We Use Your Data

• Provide the Service (stock analysis, AI recommendations, notifications).
• Process subscriptions and payments.
• Improve the AI models through anonymized usage patterns.
• Send notifications you've opted into (earnings alerts, price moves, digests).
• Comply with legal obligations (tax, financial regulations).

3. Data Sharing

We never sell your personal data. We share limited data with these service providers only to operate the platform:

• Google Cloud Platform: hosts our infrastructure.
• Firebase: authentication + push notifications.
• Stripe / Apple / Google Play: payment processing.
• Anthropic, Google Gemini, DeepSeek: LLM providers for AI analysis. Queries do not include personal identifiers.
• Sentry: error tracking.

4. Data Retention

We retain account data as long as your account is active. You can request deletion at any time by emailing info@alphainvesting.app. We'll delete or anonymize your data within 30 days, subject to legal retention requirements.

6. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards: TLS encryption in transit, encryption at rest, Google Cloud Secret Manager for credentials, and regular security audits. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

The Service is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

8. Changes

We may update this policy. We'll notify you of material changes via email or an in-app notice. Continued use after changes means you accept the new policy.
